Free Video Tutorials and Lessons

Our video tutorials will help you understand the English language. You will learn about English grammar, the eight parts of speech, how to write better in English, etc.

Grammar is the treatment of connected words to express thought. Grammar teaches us how to connect words to express thought without confusion or error. It has two main divisions:
1) The Parts of Speech.
2) The Sentence.

Grammar wonderfully simplifies language. The English language has more than 600,000 words, but grammar does not bother with that; it arranges all those words in classes (Parts of Speech)—and we have to learn just eight classes!

It is remarkable that words of the English language are so many, but their many uses are so few. All the words in the English language are arranged within eight classes called Parts of Speech.

This simple arrangement makes English grammar possible. To be good writers and grammarians, we do not need to know what to do with 400,000-600,000 English words—we only need to know what to do with eight classes of words! When we know all about a noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection, we know all about grammar!
